Mrs. Annie Starzman
Conductor of the LSCC Preparatory Choir
Mrs. Annie Starzman is the Preparatory Choir director with LSCC and teaches choir at the Lexington Latin School. Annie has experience teaching music to grades K-6 in Kentucky and Tennessee. She graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2019 where she served as coach of the female a cappella group, Paws & Listen, and as president of the UK Women’s Choir. She holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Music Education and has completed training in Levels I-III of Kodaly from Morehead State University. She has performed with choirs in Europe, the Bahamas, and throughout the United States and was a guest conductor with the Lexington Christian Academy at Carnegie Hall.
Annie and her husband, Charlie, have one daughter and another child currently on the way.
